What is it?

Sketchtober is a month long Sketchnoting challenge to learn about communication.

The challenge will involve watching some videos from The Founders Foyer podcast.

Aishwarya Ashok the host of Founders Foyer podcast has put together some amazing conversations with people like Shreyas Doshi, Ane Laure-Le Cunff, Arielle Jackson and many more.

Idea is to learn from the experiences of the stalwarts.

You can choose to watch one video a week and create a Sketchnote every week.

When?

Starting 1-Octoberr-2023

Do it for the entire month.

Take your time. There’s no rush.

What’s in it for you?

This challenge will help you learn Sketchnotes by creating 4-5 Sketchnotes towards the end of the month. The output 4-5 sketchnotes. Outcome - learning and enhancing visual note taking and better information retention of the the subject of the book.

How to participate in Sketchtober?

• Get into Growth Mindset 🤠. Be curious, open to make mistakes, and learn from others
• Gather your favorite sketching supplies 📒✏️- pen, blank pages/book, color marker or Tablet. More on tools here
• Join the cohort of Sketchnoters 👥- Whatsapp group link
• Start of every week videos ▶️ of 2 TED Talks will be shared in the group
• Sketchnote - follow simple Sketchnote guidelines to create
• Take a picture of your sketchnote (use CamScanner or Microsoft lens app for clear picture)
• Post the picture of your Sketchnote in the group
• Post the picture on your social media handle. Use hastags #sketchember #letsketchin
• If you posted your sketchnote of social media, share the link and we’ll like it repost it and boost it 😊

You will have a mini visual sketchbook of growth at the end of this challenge.
